Regular Health Checkups
Regular examinations are vital to your pet’s health. We can detect illnesses early on, before they become life threatening and too expensive to treat. It is our goal to maintain your pet’s quality of life for a long time. We recommend an annual checkup and sometimes semi -annual checkup if necessary. Our exams are very thorough and comprehensive. The exam gives us a baseline of your pet’s health going forward in case we need to manage an ongoing problem.
Pet Identification – Microchipping
Pet microchipping is a safe and effective way of ensuring your pet can be found in the event he or she goes missing. The microchip is easily embedded under the skin between the shoulder blades. It will remain there permanently . All veterinary hospitals and shelters are equipped with scanners that can read all microchips. The cost is very minimal to implant. We use the Home Again Recovery System.
There are multiple vaccinations available to pets. We can advise you on which vaccinations your pet should have and which ones are required. Most vaccinations can have a duration of immunity for 3 years.
